I've been training seriously with the Halo S Pro for several weeks now, and I have a lot to say about it: the good, the frustrating, and the genuinely impressive. The short version: it's essentially the Omni S Pro on wheels. That sounds reductive, but it's not; mobility changes what you can train in ways that matter at higher levels. Same exceptional ball quality, same head mechanism, same software, which means the same strengths and the same maddening limitations I covered in detail in my Omni review. If you haven't seen that one, I'd start there. If you have, the Halo review moves faster; I don't repeat everything from scratch. I accepted this review on one condition: full editorial independence. PongBot agreed. What you'll find in the video reflects weeks of real training, not a weekend unboxing. Omni S Pro, YouTube Review: https://youtu.be/l7E8sKsSKG0 Ponggenius.com — my table tennis recommender engine: https://www.ponggenius.com The Pongbot Halo S Pro is the most versatile table tennis training robot I've ever used. It's also one of the most expensive — and whether that premium is justified depends entirely on who you are and how you train. After many weeks of serious training — multiple sessions per week, pushing this machine into every corner of the table and every corner of its capabilities — I'm going to tell you the absolute truth about it: the exceptionally good and the questionable alike. If you're considering spending $1,700+ USD on a training robot, this is the review you need to watch first. The Halo S Pro shares its User interface with the Omni S Pro — however, what sets it apart from its smaller and less expensive sibling is its hardware: it moves. That single difference opens up training possibilities no fixed robot can offer. But it also comes at a price — literally and in other ways. By the end of this video, you'll know exactly who this machine is for, who should save their money and buy the Omni instead, and who should skip the Pongbot lineup altogether." Some of you might remember my written review of the Nova S Pro a while back. PongBot reached out and offered to send me their two higher-end machines — the Omni S Pro and Halo S Pro — for video reviews. I accepted on one condition: full editorial independence, no exceptions. This is the Omni S Pro r
